Giclée prints are also known as Iris prints. The inkjet printing
process used to produce these fine art prints is considered the
highest quality. In fact, the term "Giclée" was created
to differentiate the fine art, museum quality prints from commercial
standard prints.
Giclée
prints by Margaret Reynard are printed using archival fine art
ink sets. The paper printed on is hahnemule Torchon 100% rag watercolor
paper.
Treat the print as you would any original watercolor. Frame and
mat it using acid-free archival quality materials and UV filtering
glass or plexiglass.
Giclée prints should be hung out of direct sunlight and away from
dampness or heating vents. There is a minimum 1" white border on
all four sides of every print.
Limited Editions
Some of the prints are available as an open edition, meaning
we will produce as many as requested. However most are considered
limited editions...
Each limited edition print is signed and numbered by the artist.
There are only 200 prints in each size offered of limited edition
prints, and are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
